When I thought about maintaining healthy weight loss, the word strategy came to my mind. I looked up the meaning of this word on Wikipedia. It states, “ A word of military origin, refers to a plan of action, designed to achieve a particular goal.” Researching the meaning of this word really helped me see just what I needed to do. I needed a plan of action, so I could achieve my goal of making healthy weight loss a success.

When I consider all the benefits I have received, I can’t imagine not keeping a daily food journal for my entire food intake. If I did not, I would be making mistakes with food intake and not know why. Keeping my daily food journal not only helps me maintain my weight, but it has helped me define my shape. The extra cut and definition I have received in my muscles can be contributed to sticking with my daily food journal.

I often times share this point with people when they approach me and ask me how I got the cut and definition in my muscles. I stress to them that their diet has to be right or they won’t get the cut and definition in their muscles they are trying to achieve. I encourage them to keep track of their daily intake of calories, fat grams, carbohydrates, sodium, and sugar. I also help them see that too much sodium causes the skin to have a blown up look, due to excess fluid, and this will prevent them from having cut and definition in their muscles.

My purchase of a book of food counts was truly a wise investment. These types of books are very valuable because of all the information about nutrition they provide. These books are very detailed and it is this close attention to detail that has helped me make so much progress over the years. I highly recommend the purchase of this book to people when they ask me how I lost all my weight. I tell them that this book is essential if they are going to make progress. I have purchased many copies of this book and given them as gifts to beginners in their weight loss journey. I want beginners to see what an important role this type of book will have in their progress

These types of books list calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat grams, cholesterol, sodium and fiber. These books will even list nutritional information on some restaurants, which is very helpful. My purchase of a book of food counts has certainly helped me make healthy weight loss a success.
